Hong Kong - Goa
Setting out from Hong Kong in August 1999 the Inorbitt team (using some public transport and hitching the occasional truck) rode through South West China through Eastern Tibet to Lhasa and from there to Katmandu. Then made our way to Goa in Southern India for a party to welcome in the new Millennium.
This trip was organised to promote alternative transport. It was open to anyone to join much like a traveling Critical Mass. It is the first event of this kind. Check out this page for future events.

The Inorbitt team first took a boat from Hong Kong to Wuzhou in Guangxi province China. They crossed Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan to arrive at the Tibetan border. Taking the Yunan Tibetan Highway to Markam, then along the southern highway they rode to Lhasa. From Lhasa they took the friendship highway to Katmandu in Nepal .
The final leg was across India to Goa.
