1. Sichuan: Single track around Songpan, Pandas and forest scenery at Jiu Zhai Gou national park, Tibetan monastery and sky burial sites in Langmusi. for maps, pictures and route descriptions

2. Guangxi
The scenery in Guangxi is what most people think of when they think of China. Huge Limestone monoliths jutting out from the flat rice fielded plain. A trip through this region is easy riding and fantastically beautiful. Mostly on road but taking the smaller roads will be rewarded with a quiet ride through tiny villages.
How
Boat from Hong Kong to Wuzhou. 
Ride from Wuzhou to Yangshou 200km flat.
Yangshou to Guilin (take the little roads, its more fun)
Guilin to Longsheng 150km hilly
Longji rice terraces worth a few days 20km before Longsheng on the main road from Guilin
Longsheng to Cheng Yang Bridge (20km from Sanjiang the nearest big town)

3. Guizhou hill tribe tour.
Take a train to Kaili.
Kaili to Leishan good road nice scenery.
From Leishan there are a lot of routes around you could take for a day or twos ride.
Leishan to Rongjiang Two big mountain climbs on the way plenty of places to stay in between.
RongJing to Zhaaoxing hilly and bad road but nice scenery.
Zhoaxing to Liping
Liping to Leishan Mountain roads hard and hilly passing litle villages probably 2 or three days ride
Leishan to Kaili

4. GuiZhou Waterfall tour 

Guizhou is one of the most beautiful untouristed areas in China.
Take a train to Anshun stay at the worker hostel across the road from the xi xiu shan hotel.
Ride to LongGong Caves, Then onto Huangguoshu waterfall both in 1 day. Long Gong is much better fun so stay for a while the waterfall is ok and there are many cheap places to stay around it and it’s only two hours from the caves by bike.
From Here its 200km to Xing Yi over big mountains and down into deep gorges to arrive at the impressive Xing Yi gorge. Plenty of places to stop the night on route and easy to navigate just learn the sign for Xing Yi and follow it.

5. Yunnan Tibet ride.
Take a trrain to Kunming or fly from Bangkok and take an overnight bus to Dali.
Dali to Lijiang is an easy two day ride.
Lijing to the tiger leaping gorge is a hard day.
Tiger leaping gorge to Zhongdian two hard days.
Zhondian to Deqin 3 or 4 days over a 4500m+  pass not easy!
There are places to stay along the way but a tent would be useful for the climb it could take more than a day to get over.

6. Xinjiang: Chinese Siberia.

The far North West of Xinjiang is a pine forested mountainous regions full of crystal blue lakes and rivers far from the pollution of central China.Here
Russian, Kazak, Mongolian and Chinese cultures meet and blue eyed European looking peoples are a regular sight.
Pony trails crisscross the region while well surfaced quiet roads offer a safe and comfortable alternative
.

7. Gansu: Tibetan culture and Chinese convenience meet in this accessable region of the Tibetan plateau. Nice rides and interesting tourist stops.

8. Friendship Highway: In Tibet but on the map, the friendship highway including the Everest basecamp ride is what mountainbike travel is all about. Do this trip before you die!

9. China to Lhasa: Dodge police as you enjoy the scenery. Adventure does not sufficiently describe the incredible excitment of attempting this ride.

10. Guandong / Canton: There are actually many ineteresting rides around this industrial province but the city is all most people see, a ride around the city is a bit of a battle as the car gains popularity but the people, food, shopping and nightlife make Guangzhou worth the visit.
